Dear Host Family,

My name is Sofia and right now, I'm 16 years old. I live in Sweden, and I have lived here my whole life so I'm really excited to move to another country!

Especially USA, it has been my dream since I spent one month with an American family in Newport. (Friends of the family). When I'm not in school I like to hang out with my friends and family. Of course I do different things with them.

With my friends I like to go shopping, tanning, do sports and hang out at a coffeehouse. With my family I like to travel, watch movies, eat long dinners. They help me study and also when I get problems with friends. I like water sports like waterskiing (I'm not good at all, but I still love it. Haha!). I also like our water scoter. Honestly, I love everything that has to do with the summer.

I work on the weekends. I like to take responsibility and see results when I work really hard.

I'm so excited to come to you and learn about your couture, and even to teach you about the Swedish culture, food and holidays and so on! It would be really fun to teach you some Swedish to!

I got some hopes about my stay over there, I hope that we are going get along really good and that you become like a new family for me. That you are ready to take care of me like your own daughter, like I'm going to see you as my new family. I hope I will get many friends and have an awesome time. I'm so happy that I got the chance to do this, and I hope you are as much excited that I am. I know that we are going to get along very well and that we could do this as a lifetime experience for both you and me.
