Dear Host Family,
My name is Kristin and I'm 16 years old. I'm a
caring and kind girl with a restless soul and a
big heart. And I'm very outgoing and open. I often
hear people call me the little sweet one. My
nickname is "Sunshine", and I think I smile a lot.
I'm the best mix of Asian and Nordic genes, he-he.
Big fan of living and I pretty much appreciate
this world to a certain level.
I'm interested in gymnastics that I have competed
in for several years, but right now I'm only a
coach. I really love sports! A life without
training wouldn't be a good life for me.
Taekwondo, volleyball and dance is also sports I'm
interested in. And same as many other girls, I do
love shopping. And i'm sure that if i had checked
it, I would have black belt in it!
Family and friends takes a lot of my time. My
parents are divorced, and in total I have six
siblings (two pairs of twins). With my mom I have
a cat and have had other animals such as dogs,
guinea pigs, etc. I could not live without my
friends! I depend on them, and they are very close
to me. So I use to hang out with friends very
often. When I'm with my friends we use to go to
the cinema, shopping, party or we are making food,
go out for eating, or just stay home for talk,
watch TV, and much more.
When I am with my family I like to watch a movie,
talk, play games, bake, and so much more. I like
that they can sit down and help me with the
homework, and encourage me. And I use to sing star
with my brother (the rest of them are to small). I
have always wished for older siblings or someone
in my age.
I love summer and sun, and nothing is better than
being able to play volleyball or lie on the beach
to sunbathe, eat ice cream and swimming days
around. When winter comes, I 'm about to freeze to
death and I'm sure that my packages is twice as
much clothing as you would normally see others do!
Although it is fun to sled on the sledge and
standing on the snowboard.
I am very serious about school since it determines
the future. I want to be a psychologist, lawyer or
something that is in to help people, also maybe
study criminology. The subjects at school I like
best is more social studies and languages, not
math and science.
One of my dreams is also to travel around the
whole world. Hawaii , Egypt, Costa Rica, Spain,
different places in USA and Africa etc. Just to
learn, and have a good time.
Still I'm very social and active, but I can also
just sit down and read a book, that's something I
really like.
