Dear Host Family,

My name is Stine and I'm a fun and outgoing girl from Norway. I live with my mother Anne, her partner Magne and my two cats. Since both of my siblings have moved out, I'm the only child in the house.

In my spare time, I like to dance and twirl, which is something I have been doing for a long time. I also have a lot of friends that I hang out with a lot. Friends and family are a very important part of my life and I spend as much time with them as possible. I have a very good friend who has actually lived in America for five years. He loves it there.

When it comes to interests, I like to do a lot of things. For example reading magazines, solving crosswords, go shopping, or just watch a movie with my friends. I love being around people, and get a long with most of them. I'm almost always in a good mood, and try to see the positive in things. All my life I've had a dream about moving to the US, but I never imagined that it could happen so soon. When I read about it on the Internet about a year ago, it didn't take long before I knew that this was the perfect chance for me. I think it's a wonderful opportunity to experience something completely new. A new culture, new friends and of course a great experience to take with me further in life.

I love to travel, even if it's just to a different town. Lucky for me, I don't get much homesick. Of course, it's a big difference between going on a vacation and going away for a whole year, but I think that once I have been there for a while it will be like my new home. If I get to go to America, it will be like a dream come true!
