Dear Host Family,

I am so excited to do my year abroad. I dream since 2007 when I was in New York from a year in the USA.

When I was in New York I was so impress. I visited all the sights and enjoyed the trip through New York. My family and I think that it was the best trip we ever had and I will remember it when I am 40 years old and older.

I hope that I can speak English better and fluently. Also I want to study the American life and how the American people behave them.

I am so excited to go to school because and don't know them and hear a lot of special things. For example I heard that the American school loves to do sport. I love to do sports. I would try different kind of sports like baseball. Also I want to learn something in an American school because I think the German school and the American school are different.

I hope that I can connect me with other people and to do something with them. To collect experience is very important because this is very helpful for the future. I want to collect experience like the traditions of the American people and their life. I can't wait to come to my host family and live there for ten months.
