Host Families Wanted
Make an American Dream come true! Aspect Foundation seeks host
families for international students arriving August. Students spend
a semester or academic year living with a volunteer host family
and attending the local high school or community college. Students
speak English, are fully insured, and have their own spending money.
Host families can be married or single adults (25+), with or without
children, who are willing to provide meals and a loving home for
one or two students.

Coordinator for Aspect Foundation Work part-time from home, set
your own hours, and make friends all over the world! Aspect Foundation
seeks local "International Coordinators" to recruit and
screen potential host families, match international students with
qualified host families, maintain contact with students and families
throughout the school year, and plan activities to introduce students
to the American way of life.

Company: Aspect Foundation International Student Exchange:
a non-profit organization providing affordable study-abroad opportunities
to students from more than 50 countries.
Position Description: The International Student Affairs
Intern assists with evaluating and screening high school and college
aged applicants from approximately 50 countries. The Intern reads
applications and corresponds with overseas offices via fax and email
to obtain clarification regarding cultural, linguistic and technical
ambiguities in applications, and to obtain documentation to complete
applications.
Qualifications: Excellent English language abilities, both
spoken and written. Excellent analytical skills and attention to
detail. Computer and general office skills. Maturity, self-motivation
and a desire to work in the field of student affairs or international
relations. Graduate level preferred; mature undergraduate considered.
Commitment: Minimum four weeks. Hours negotiable. Work from
our financial district office in San Francisco.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. However, there
is great opportunity for advancement in our worldwide network of
companies. Our last unpaid intern is now a full time employee.

Job Description: Publicity/Journalism Intern for busy student
exchange organization located in the Financial District, San Francisco.
Duties include writing press releases and articles about exchange
students and host families for local and national publications.
Previous interns have been published with bylines.
Schedule: 8 - 16 hours per week, May to July/Aug. We are
flexible about the hours, but you must commit to scheduled hours
each week.
Requirements: Successful candidate will have excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills, attention
to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines are
important. Basic computer skills are required. An interest in international
education is a plus.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the learning
experience is priceless! Academic credit is negotiable - please

San Francisco. Duties include library research of grant-making foundations
and corporations; writing query letters to grant-makers; developing,
writing and submitting grant proposals to finance specific projects.
Schedule: 8 - 16 hours per week, May to July/Aug. We are
flexible about the hours, but you must commit to scheduled hours
each week. You may work in the grants library and in our office,
and you may also work from home.
Requirements: Successful candidate will have excellent English
communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated strong
writing skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,
ability to work independently and meet deadlines are important.

education and understanding of grant-writing is a plus.
